The SalesRabbit alternative built for D2D teams that hate per-seat pricing.
SalesRabbit is a solid product. It also costs $35–$49 per rep per month, charges extra for a manager seat, and takes weeks to set up. Turf Lion is one flat fee per team, ships with Smart Route AI and AI Pitch Coach, and onboards a new rep in 10 minutes.
Who switches and why
Most teams that move to Turf Lion are leaving SalesRabbit for one of three reasons.
First, the per-rep math stopped making sense. A team grows from 8 reps to 22 reps and the bill triples. The owner does the math one Friday and realizes they're paying more for sales software than they pay for their warehouse.
Second, they wanted route AI that actually moves numbers. SalesRabbit's DataGrid is a homeowner data overlay — useful, but it doesn't change the order in which a rep walks the street. Turf Lion's Smart Route AI re-sorts every morning by the doors most likely to convert at the time the rep is standing there, calibrated on pooled knock outcomes from the entire Turf Lion network.
Third, they wanted one tool, not five. With SalesRabbit, contracts, e-signature, commission tracking, and pitch coaching are often separate add-ons or separate vendors. Turf Lion ships all of it in the base plan.
Being honest
When SalesRabbit is the right call.
We'd rather you stay on SalesRabbit than switch to Turf Lion, hit a wall, and tell your team we're junk. Here are three honest reasons to keep what you have.
Your reps use Android
SalesRabbit has been on Android for years. Turf Lion is iOS only until late 2026. If half your team is on Pixel and Galaxy, stay where you are.
You live and die by homeowner data overlays
SalesRabbit's DataGrid lets you filter doors by income, ownership, and demographic signals before you knock. We don't have an equivalent overlay yet.
You're locked into a specific integration
If your operation depends on a SalesRabbit-specific Zapier flow or a vertical integration we haven't built, the switching cost may not be worth it this quarter.
When Turf Lion is the better fit
Four reasons teams switch — and don't look back.
You're tired of per-rep pricing
Add a rep, get a bigger bill. Hire 5 closers in Q4, the invoice jumps $200+. Turf Lion is flat per team — hire 20 more, pay the same.
You want route AI, not just data overlays
Smart Route AI re-orders your walking route every morning based on which doors are likeliest to answer at the time you'll knock — pooled across the network.
You want your reps to get better, not just be tracked
AI Pitch Coach lets reps record a practice pitch and get tone, pacing, and objection-handling feedback in under 60 seconds. Private to the rep — managers don't see audio.
You don't have 2–4 weeks for onboarding
SalesRabbit and Spotio implementations typically take 2–4 weeks with a CSM. Turf Lion ships ready — sign up, import leads, send the App Store link. 10 minutes per rep.

From the switchers
What operators say after leaving SalesRabbit.
“We left SalesRabbit after 2 years because every new hire was a $49 line item. Switched to Turf Lion Growth and our software bill dropped from $1,470 to $249 the next month. Reps actually like the new app — that's the part I didn't expect.”

“I came over for the price and stayed for Smart Route AI. My closers were already great. The route AI added 3 extra appointments per rep per week — quietly, without anyone changing how they sell.”

SalesRabbit vs Turf Lion: questions we hear all the time
Is Turf Lion really a drop-in replacement for SalesRabbit?+
For most D2D teams — yes. The core jobs are the same: territory mapping, knock dispositions, lead tracking, contracts, and a manager dashboard. Turf Lion adds Smart Route AI, AI Pitch Coach, live commission tracking, and an iPad-native layout. If you rely on a very specific SalesRabbit integration we don't support yet, email hello@turflion.com and we'll tell you straight up whether to wait.
How does Turf Lion pricing compare to SalesRabbit?+
Based on publicly listed pricing as of May 2026, SalesRabbit charges roughly $35–$49 per rep per month. Turf Lion charges a flat fee per team: $99/mo for up to 10 reps, $249/mo for up to 35, $499/mo for up to 75. A 20-rep team on SalesRabbit Pro pays around $980/mo. The same team on Turf Lion Growth pays $249/mo flat — and you don't pay extra for the manager seat.
What's involved in switching from SalesRabbit to Turf Lion?+
About a weekend. Export your leads as CSV from SalesRabbit, import into Turf Lion from the admin Leads screen, redraw territories on the map (most teams find this is a good excuse to clean them up), and send the App Store link to your reps. Average onboarding time is 10 minutes per rep. We don't charge for migration help — email support@turflion.com and we'll walk you through it.
Does Turf Lion have an Android app like SalesRabbit?+
Not yet. Turf Lion is iOS only today (iPhone + iPad). Android is on our roadmap for late 2026. If your team is mixed iOS/Android, SalesRabbit is the safer call right now.
Can I keep my current contract templates and commission rules?+
Yes. Upload PDF contract templates in the admin Contracts screen and configure per-product commission rules (flat, percentage, or variant-based) in the Products screen. Most teams replicate their SalesRabbit setup in under an hour.
What about SalesRabbit's DataGrid or weather overlays — does Turf Lion have those?+
No third-party homeowner data overlay today, and no weather layer. Our bet is different: Smart Route AI uses pooled knock outcomes from the Turf Lion network (anonymized) to surface the doors most likely to convert at the time you're actually standing there. If a homeowner data overlay is core to how you operate, SalesRabbit is the right tool.
